The Approved Drugs app presents over a thousand drug structures and names from the list approved by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA). The structures, names and miscellaneous data for these drugs are stored within the app, and made available for browsing. The drugs can be filtered, searched by name or structure, and viewed in 2D or 3D. There are several functions for making use of the data.
More detailed information about the app can be found on the official page: Approved Drugs product description.

[edit] Data
The data is based on a collection extracted from the e-Drug3D list and curated with contributions from Antony Williams and Sean Ekins. The 3D conformations were originally incorporated from the e-Drug3D list. Many of the 2D diagrams have been redepicted using the 2D depiction algorithm that is part of MOE. Preliminary validation has been carried out by using the ChemSpider API to add an additional self-consistency checking.
There are no restrictions on what can be done with the data. While the app itself is not free, the data content is compiled from publicly available data, and any modifications or improvements are made available for any purpose. The usual caveats apply: the data is made available as-is, and no responsibility is taken for its veracity or potential misuse.
The data content is loaded onto the app itself, so no internet connection is required. It is available from various sources, including from within the Drug Repurposing topic in the Open Drug Discovery Teams app.

Approved Drugs is an iOS app which runs on iPhone, iPod and iPad devices. It is available on the iTunes AppStore.
[edit] Licensing & Availability
